My mother was disappointed to find out that there was no cure for her macular degeneration disease. She had an appointment with her eye doctor today and received the bad news. My mother called me to tell me about the results of her eye exam and did tell me that she was told to take some macular degeneration supplements that could slow down the progress of the disease. We were both thrilled that there is something to help her as this is becoming a life altering problem as she gets older.
